PLEASE NOTE

We take the recent reports of people being forcibly drugged / spiked in clubs very seriously. For this reason, we have taken additional measures.

Our door staff have been sensitised to the issue and will check each guest accordingly upon arrival. Guests can approach the club staff at any time and ask for help. Our awareness team, recognisable by the "A" badge, has an increased presence during the event and is prepared for eventualities.

Please be attentive and look out for each other. Do not leave your drinks unattended. If you suddenly feel unwell, speak to a trusted person immediately and contact our club staff straight away.

Let's stick together and do everything we can to prevent these incidents and keep offenders out of our clubs.

Please also take note of our awareness concept, which you can find on our website here or as a poster in the club. Contact awareness[at]rso.berlin for any further help and info.

OUR VALUES AND AWARENESS MEASURES

We are committed to representing and reflecting what the music industry and club culture in Berlin and around the world stands for: peace, love, unity and respect.

We aim to be a club where everyone feels welcome and can party without reference to skin color, sexual orientation, gender, or origin: a safer space for everyone who loves electronic music or is ready to fall in love; a space in which all guests can freely develop and experiment while their boundaries are respected; a place that includes people of every conceivable background or identity and that enables them to be more visible and audible, critically questions and develops discourses, and that represents and depicts marginalized groups in our society. We understand diversity in all its facets, including promoters, event concepts and various electronic music genres that represents our scene.

As part of a wider club culture, we have the opportunity to shape structures within our society and are aware of this responsibility. Only through structural change we can adequately respond to discriminatory structures and prevent them.

Living up to those ambitions is a joint and on-going effort. We kindly ask you to read and consider our awareness policies:

BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER

Everyone should feel accepted and comfortable regardless of gender, sexual orientation, skin color, religion or ethnicity. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, anti-Semitism, racism, sexism, ableism or ageism. Hate symbols and the like are not welcome. Disrespectful and abusive behavior such as unwanted come-ons, comments or other harassment will not be tolerated.

ONLY YES MEANS YES

Act according to the consensus principle: Actions and conversations only take place with mutual consent. Make sure that the other person clearly signals that he, she or they want to talk or interact with you. Individual boundaries are respected: No always means no. An only yes means yes.

TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER

If you feel uncomfortable with a situation, observe something that seems strange to you or someone obviously needs help, speak to the person concerned. If you personally do not feel up to the situation, for whatever reason, feel free to contact our awareness team. The staff members marked with an "A" represent your interests or those of the person concerned in the event of a violation of boundaries or an assault. They will take care of people who - for whatever reason - are in a bad way.

“MONKEYPOX”/ MPX - What you can do -

The best protection against MPX is vaccination. Find more
    information here.

Watch out for alterations in your skin. If in doubt, avoid physical contact.

Do not share objects during sex (e.g. dildos, sex toys and lubricants). Do not share any textiles.

Condoms during sex and gloves for fisting reduce the risk of particularly painful cases in the anal and genital area. But they do not protect against transmission to other parts of the body.

Have any symptoms checked by a doctor. Avoid sex/close skin-to-skin contact and stay at home until healed. Inform sex partners and others with whom there was close skin-to-skin contact. Also inform any flat mates.
